What is the percentage difference between the buying and selling rate?

We sell our S.T.A.R. Gold Grams at a -% premium over the gold spot price and buy them back at spot for an effective buy/sell spread of -%. For our S.T.A.R. Silver Grams the equivalent spread is -%. And for our S.T.A.R. Platinum Grams the equivalent spread is -%.

*This spread is applicable only to transactions done in USD and SGD, other currencies may vary due to forex charges and fluctuations.

How long do cash withdrawals to my bank account take?

Withdrawals that are filed in the app before 4pm on a workday will be send to our banking partner on the same day. International transfers can take between 1 and 3 working days. We currently do not process withdrawal requests over the weekend and on public holidays.

Where do I find your bank account information?

When you file a deposit request within the app, you'll be shown the specific payment and/or bank account transfer instructions that apply for your deposit. Please follow those instructions precisely.

Do I receive an interest on my cash holdings?

No interest is paid on your cash holdings.

Is there any minimum duration or holding amount to keep the account?

No, there is no minimum duration or holding amount.

Do I still need to consider the premiums when redeeming physical bars?

Yes. Smaller bars have a higher premium due to the relatively higher production cost and that will be considered even for physical bar redemption. The S.T.A.R. Grams Savings Account is ideal to save up S.T.A.R. Grams regularly and allows you to redeem a large bar with a low physical product premium later instead of paying those high premiums for small bars and coins.

Can I only redeem into gold or also other products?

Because we buy your S.T.A.R. Grams back from you at the current spot price without charging an additional fee or premium, you can redeem your S.T.A.R. Grams for any product in our retail store on a dollar value equivalent basis.

How can I update my verified bank account, residential address or phone number?

Please contact our customer service in order to assist you as we have to verify you as the owner of your account in the process.

How can I close my account and is there a closing fee?

Please configure your bank account information in your account settings and then let us know through our support channels that you wish to close your account. We will have to verify you as the owner of the account. There is no closing fee. You will only be charged your outstanding storage fees when we sell your S.T.A.R. Grams to close the account. An account closure will be processed within 2 working days.
